Jollie: Abreast of Culture

Sunday 24 January, 8pm

A double act which wowed the critics at Edinburgh last year will be bringing a comedy sketch show to The Dukes on Sunday 24 January.

Jollie (John Biddle and Ollie Birch) are the story and song experts who perform in this wonderful comedic tale.  Featuring spoof set pieces and inspired musical numbers, they use their razor-sharp wit to test their ‘inspired high art material’ for the (fictitious) European Festival of Story and Song.

Regular Dukes’ audiences may recognise singer and composer John Biddle, from the venue’s Christmas show, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, as he played Tim Mann.  Ollie Birch was also involved, having written the script.  Both men also appeared in We All Fall Down with en masse theatre which toured to The Dukes in 2009.

Tickets for the show cost £10 and £8 (concessions).  Please call The Dukes Box Office on 01524 598500 or see http://www.dukes-lancaster.org to book.
