Sunday 31 January, 8pm
Performance poet and comedian John Hegley will be bringing his new show to The Dukes on Sunday 31 January.
The Adventures of Monsieur Robinet feature Hegley’s signature tales, this time referring to a Frenchman with some unusual (but clean) habits. The stories include other new works, including an address to aliens on the subject of transport, a poem about a non-talking parrot and some animal impersonations with the aid of a handkerchief.
John Hegley is a regular sell-out at The Edinburgh Festival. He is widely known as one of the country’s most innovative comic poets with several best-selling volumes of poetry to his name.
Tickets for the show cost £12 and £10 (concessions). Please call The Dukes Box Office on 01524 598500 or see http://www.dukes-lancaster.org to book.
